Hakama Pant – Burgundy Stripe

The hakama traces its origins back over a thousand years to Japan’s Heian period, where it was first worn by nobility and later adopted by the samurai class. More than a garment, the hakama represented status, discipline, and moral conduct. Its form was designed not only for practicality, allowing freedom of movement on foot or horseback, but also to express inner values, symbolised by the many pleats.
