Perforated Sabah Slipper – Black Leather

Sabah, a brand best known for its handmade leather shoes inspired by traditional Turkish slippers, is releasing a special collaboration with Engineered Garments.

The collaboration reimagines the company's most classic silhouette, the Sabah. Inspired by traditional English footwear, Daiki Suzuki dreamed up two styles; one with perforated brogueing and the other with metal studs.

“For many years,” says Daiki, “I’ve been observing traditional Turkish slip-on shoes like the Babouche, as well as the classic shallow-toe Belgian loafers. I’ve always wanted to take these simple shoe forms as a base and create something special with interesting design details. Meeting Sabah finally gave me the opportunity to bring this long-held vision to life.”
